Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ReTranslate application ("Service") provided by ReTranslate ("we," "our," or "us"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of Service

ReTranslate is a Shopify application that provides AI-powered translation auditing, quality scoring, and improvement suggestions for your Shopify store. You must have an active Shopify store to use the Service.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in connection with your Shopify store, subject to these Terms. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, billing, or security measures
• Use automated systems to excessively access the Service beyond normal use
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

4. Billing

ReTranslate offers Free, Pro, and Max subscription plans. All paid subscriptions are billed through Shopify’s billing system. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Shopify to charge the applicable fees to your Shopify account.

You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from within the app. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5. AI-Generated Content

ReTranslate provides AI-generated translation suggestions. While we strive for high quality, AI suggestions are provided "as-is" and should be reviewed before applying. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving any changes applied to your store.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReTranslate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice within the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
